New York is no stranger to chilling winter temperatures, but Friday's winter blast had locals shivering.

Be sure to bundle up because these insanely cold temperatures might just be sticking around through the weekend.

8 F  "Feels like" temperature in New York City. 

Even some local New Yorkers seem to have had it with the extremely cold weather, as the "real feel" earlier in the morning dropped below zero.

Unfortunately for those who don't enjoy cold weather in the Big Apple, today's weather may have been just a prelude to a "prolonged coastal storm system" hitting the tri-state area late Sunday, possibly bringing in 6 to 10 inches of snow.

Some New Yorkers seem to even be considering a move down south, where some states are experiencing temperatures higher than 60 F.
