Fans of the hit Netflix docuseries Tiger King may be well acquainted with Tampa’s Big Cat Rescue owner Carole Baskin and her alleged connection to the disappearance of her ex-husband Don Lewis. Now, investigations continue on the cold case as the family of Don Lewis searches for answers. They're now even offering a $100,000 reward for information.
Theseries mostly highlights the feud between and , the former zoo owner who is currently in jail for allegedly planning to murder Baskin.
However, many viewers who tuned into the series attached to the theory of Baskin having murdered her former husband.
In a live stream on Facebook, it was revealed that a Facebook group called Don Lewis Cold Case Files, totaling 3.3K members, has been researching documents and videos across the internet in search of answers as to what exactly happened to Don Lewis; similarly to how and her group as highlighted in the Don't F**k With Cats docuseries.
Jack Smith, a spokesperson for Lewis’ family, announced during the live stream today, “We really need someone to come forward. There is a lot of people who have information who are afraid to come forward…they are worried that if they come forward they will be charged for a crime.”
Since the debut of the series, ahas even called attention to the cold case and asked the public for help and information.
has said that he thinks Don Lewis' will was forged, and it was revealed during today's live stream that some of the documents investigators have looked into raise some concerns; further details as to which documents and what exactly has raised red flags are being kept under wraps while the investigation is on-going.
Chronister has also said he believes Lewis could have been murdered, though he does not currently have evidence to support his suspicions.
John Phillips, the Lewis’ family lawyer, extended an invitation to Baskin during the live stream to talk with them about what really happened, following it with a reminder that he sues people and that route is very possible.

Lewis went missing in 1997 and was declared legally dead in 2002. Fox 13 reports that Baskin has never yet been charged in relation to the case of Don Lewis, which went cold 20 years ago.
