Call up your friends for a scary night in! Netflix is releasing some seriously spooky content this July. So, if you're in the mood for a scare, the Paranormal Activity movies on Netflix Canada are a perfect choice.

As part of their new releases for July, Netflix will be adding Paranormal Activity 2Paranormal Activity 3, and Paranormal Activity 4 to their roster.

The popular film franchise follows a seemingly normal family as they encounter shocking and uncomfortable altercations with demons from beyond the grave throughout their lives.

The first film in the series introduces us to Katie and Micah, a young couple who just moved into a brand new house.

Unfortunately, it's not long before Katie feels the presence of a spirit she believes has been following her for her whole life.

Narcity reached out to Netflix to find out if they'll be releasing the first Paranormal Activity film. So far, however, they have only confirmed the second, third and fourth movie for July.

In the second movie, viewers will be introduced to Katie's sister Kristi as she and her new family experience paranormal horrors of their own.

Paranormal Activity 3 takes audiences back in time to the sister's childhood when they encountered "Tobi," the evil demon, for the very first time.

The fourth film forwards to the present time, when Katie moves into a new neighbourhood. Shortly after she and her son arrive, neighbours begin feeling the wrath of Tobi as well.

The franchise has come out with even more films in recent years, including Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones and Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension.

According to Collider, a seventh Paranormal Activity installment is in the works and is set to be released in March of 2021.

Other exciting releases headed to the streamer next month include Say I DoUnsolved Mysteries, and The Old Guard, just to name a few.

Paranormal Activity two, three and four will be added to Netflix Canada on Sunday, July 12. You can check out the trailer for the second movie below.
