Following the couple’s tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, it seems Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s relationship with some members of the royal family is not improving.

According to new reports, a friend of the couple described conversations between Harry and Prince William and Prince Charles as “unproductive” so far.

Gayle King, co-host of CBS’ This Morning, said the couple was glad to have started conversations but said “the word I was given was those conversations were not productive.”

"I think what is still upsetting to them is that the palace keeps saying they want to work it out privately... but yet they believe [that] false stories are coming out that are very disparaging against Meghan still," she added.

However, King said the couple wants to "move forward" and see "healing." It comes as members of the royal family have refuted accusations of racism following the couple’s dramatic interview with Oprah.
