Cineplex Is Offering $5 Movie Nights This Month & Here's When You Can Get The Deal
Movie nights aren’t exactly cheap anymore, but Cineplex has a new deal this month that you won’t want to miss.
You'll be able to get a movie ticket for just $5 on certain days this month, which is a serious throwback. Movie ticket prices in the 90s were much different than today, and Cineplex is reminiscing on simpler times.
Why you should care: Every Tuesday in February, moviegoers can get general admission movie tickets to their favourite films for $5 and get a small bag of popcorn for the same price.
The last time tickets were this cheap was 25 years ago, Cineplex said in the press release.
In other words, cheap Tuesdays just got even cheaper.
What they are saying: "We're taking Tuesday pricing back to the late nineties when Canadians were running to see iconic movies like Star Wars: Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace, The Sixth Sense, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, Toy Story 2 and The Matrix," Sara Moore, EVP and Chief Marketing Officer at Cineplex said.
"We are delighted to give Canadians more reasons to come in from the cold to experience movie magic with friends and family this February," Moore added.
What comes next: When planning your next movie night on a Tuesday, you can grab these cheap tickets from Cineplex Canada or online, but there is a booking fee of $1.50 per ticket, plus tax when done through the website.
Scene+ members will still be able to use their 10% off offer on Tuesdays, so it's time to use your loyalty card for these ridiculously cheap Cineplex tickets.
