If you're looking to save money at the cinema, Cineplex is offering free movies and deals on concessions for one day only in November!

That's because the theatre chain's Community Day is coming back for another year at theatres across Canada.

So, you'll be able to enjoy a morning of free movies and discounted popcorn, candy, and soft drinks from concessions.

It was just announced that the Cineplex Community Day for 2023 is happening in Canada on Saturday, November 4.

Community Day free movies and discounted $2.50 concessions are available only at participating theatres in Canada on Saturday, November 4.

The concessions discount is valid when you buy snacks from 9:00 a.m. to 10:59 a.m. local time.

You'll only be able to get free movie tickets for Community Day featured titles with showtimes scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 11:59 a.m. on that day.

Tickets can be reserved in advance online or in a theatre starting on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.

If you get tickets through the Cineplex app or site, online booking fees will be waived for Community Day featured movies.

There is a maximum of four adult tickets and four child tickets that can be reserved per account.

Tickets for Community Day are limited and only available on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you're wondering what you can watch for free, the Community Day movies for 2023 are Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile, Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, Jumanji: The Next Level and The Angry Birds Movie 2.

New for this year, Cineplex's Community Day is also happening at The Rec Room so you can get free gaming on the morning of November 4, 2023.

If you don't know about The Rec Room at Cineplex, it's an entertainment space offering games, food and entertainment including Canadian-inspired cuisine, video games, live music, and more.

There are locations in Burnaby, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto, London, Mississauga, Barrie, and St. John's.

Also, Playdium is joining in on Community Day on Saturday, November 4. That means you can game for free that morning.

At the Cineplex theatres participating in Community Day, $1 from all concession purchases throughout the entire day will go to supporting youth empowerment programs through BGC Canada.
