Cineplex announced on Monday that they will be opening a new Playdium in CF Fairview Mall in Toronto and it already sounds like so much fun.

The entertainment complex will be filled with games like mini golf, bowling and so much more. It will also be attached to Cineplex Cinemas, making it a one-stop shop for all things fun!

Why you should care: The new Playdium complex will give you plenty of excuses to extend your next movie night at Fairview Mall, with a ton of games and activities to enjoy. Canada currently only has Playdium locations in Brampton, Whitby and Dartmouth, N.S.

The other locations have a bunch of things to do, including video games, virtual reality, bowling and obstacle courses that'll make you feel like a kid again.

What they're saying: "We're combining the best in entertainment and fast-casual dining by opening a Playdium alongside our Cineplex Cinemas at CF Fairview Mall. Family and friends can come together for movies, gaming and delicious food, in a one stop shop for fun," said Ellis Jacob, President and CEO of Cineplex, in a press release.

What comes next: Construction on the Playdium will start next month and it's expected to open sometime in late 2024.

Cineplex says the space spans approximately 20,000 square feet and "will be dedicated to games and attractions for all skill levels, while also offering a range of food and beverage options, including chef-inspired burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, nachos, tacos and a selection of sweet treats."

Keep reading: If you were wondering what you could expect from the space, Cineplex opened its first Playdium in 2019 and it's freaking huge. Here's what the Fairview Mall Playdium could look like.
