Bad news, Alberta! Fuel tax is set to be reinstated from October 1 so gas is about to get pricier in the province.

In a notice to fuel sellers on September 21 seen by Narcity, the Alberta Tax and Revenue Administration (TRA) said that the collection of fuel tax would start again on October 1, after it was dropped earlier this year.

If you've ever felt the pain of moving, this one is for you! These Calgarians needed to move a couch and when faced with a lack of gas, they came up with a pretty genius way to do it using the city's e-scooters and they captured the whole thing on video.

In the video that was shared on Reddit, a group of friends are seen moving the couch by loading it onto the back of two e-scooters.

If there's one thing that most Canadians are united on, it's groaning over how much gas costs these days. To make things worse, one Redditor decided to share a throwback photo of gas prices in Alberta in March 2020, and people were so sad about it.

The Reddit post, titled "Remember when? Gas prices on March 23 2020," shows the low price of 68.9 cents a litre for gas in Alberta right around the time when the COVID-19 pandemic hit Canada.

Alberta Premier Jason Kenney has taken aim at what he's called the "laptop class" after an article criticized Alberta's move to cut fuel tax in the province.

Kenney was responding to an article posted by The Globe And Mail, that called on him and other premiers, including Ontario's Doug Ford, Saskatchewan's Scott Moe and B.C.'s John Horgan, to "hit the breaks on taxpayer money to subsidize drivers".
