These Are Ontario's Most Luxurious Wedding Venues & The Photos Will Make You Swoon

Finding the perfect wedding venue for your budget can be a challenge. You have to consider the location, aesthetic and your finances while picking out your dream venue to tie the knot, and you often need to plan well in advance to score that perfect spot.
Ontario is full of breathtaking places to say "I do," but with so many options, it can feel overwhelming to narrow down your selection. That's why we reached out Ontario-based wedding planner and coordinator Stephanie Banks to find out the most-wanted wedding venues in the province.
Banks has been in the hospitality industry for over a decade and is the owner and lead coordinator of New Berlin Weddings & Events right here in Ontario.
When it comes to planning the perfect wedding, Banks has a list of gorgeous venues up her sleeve, and she shared six of her favourite and most luxurious venues across Ontario with Narcity.
Banks says an average wedding these days can cost from $40,000 to $60,000, including all the bells and whistles from the venue, DJ, food, flowers, photographer, videographer and more. However, if you stick to a budget, you can put on a wedding for $30,000 or less.
If that sticker shock didn't phase you and you're looking to spend some more dough on an ultra lush wedding, you may want to check out these five venues, which Banks estimates will cost you anywhere from $60,000 to $80,000 in total.
One King West
Address: 1 King Street West, Toronto, ON
About the venue: One King West is a stunning hotel right in the heart of Toronto, and if you are looking for a downtown venue, you may want to check out one of their wedding packages.
One King West has three wedding package options, including the Silver Package, Gold Package, and Platinum Package. These packages vary depending on your dinner courses, hors d’oeuvres and bar service needs.
However, all their wedding packages include a customizable menu, wine with dinner, complimentary rehearsal space, overnight suite for the wedding night, two complimentary day-use suites, white linen napkins and chair covers, white floor-length damask linens, breakfast for two at Teller’s Bar & Lounge and more, according to their website.
The hotel has multiple venue options including the Grand Banking Hall, which is a ballroom for 341 guests with a 100-foot bar, cathedral windows and stunning Corinthian columns.
The Austin Gallery fits 250 guests and comes with two private rooms, the main gallery and a large mezzanine.
If you're looking for a more intimate space you may want to check out their King Gallery & Melinda Gallery which fits 150 guests.
For smaller weddings, the Chairman’s Boardroom, The Vault, and Fifteen Hundred all fit 80 guests.
Why Banks loves this venue: Banks says One King West is "the most beautiful space ever" and the first time she saw it, it took her breath away.
She says the venue has a "grandiose" feel from its tall ceilings down to its unique and curated finishings.
Banks says if you are a fan of Netflix's Bridgerton, this venue has the perfect Victorian vibe to replicate that feeling.
Cellar 52
Address:1430 King St N, St. Jacobs, ON
About the venue: This historic wedding venue is tucked away in St. Jacobs, one of the oldest towns in Ontario, and the building itself dates back to 1852. It actually used to be a lodging house, according to their website, and it still has that old-timey look.
The venue has two floors and plenty of options for your big day. You can hold the ceremony by the riverside or indoors, depending on your style and the weather. You can also use their patio space, the coachhouse bar, sunroom, dance room and more.
This venue also has in-house catering so you won't have to worry about food for your guests!
For weddings in 2024 and 2025, weekend rentals range from $3,000 for a Sunday brunch to $6,000 for a Saturday evening. If you decide to get married on a weekday it could be as low as $2,500, according to Cellar 52.
Keep in mind that's not including a catering package!
Why Banks loves this venue: Banks loves Cellar 52 and Stella Collective's other venues in St. Jacobs because each one is "super gorgeous" and there is a "little history in each building."
Elora Mill Hotel & Spa
Address: 51 Mill Street West, Elora, ON
About the venue: Elora Mill Hotel & Spa is a popular wedding destination for a reason. This gorgeous hotel is a converted grain store, so you can soak in all the small-town vibes with a dash of history.
You can get married in the newly renovated Foundry Chapel, made of limestone and featuring tall iron doors, a 16-foot fireplace and timber beams.
The enchanting chapel seats 200 guests but if you're looking at a more intimate ceremony you may prefer the spaces inside the Granary building. One of the more popular options is The Irvine, which seats 40 to 90 guests and overlooks the town. There's also The Grand on the top floor of the Granary, which features a grand room and terrace seating up to 200 guests, according to their website.
Why Banks loves this venue: Banks says Elora Mill Hotel & Spa is one of her favourite wedding venues.
"They have such a well-run team there. It's called the Granary Building and it's this old piece of history in downtown Elora."
Banks says this venue gets things right all the way down to the details from "superb" dishware to their stunning chandeliers.
Queen's Landing
Address: 155 Byron Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON
About the venue: This lakeside Georgian-style mansion is ideal for anyone looking to tie the knot in vintage royal splendour. The venue has beautiful event spaces overlooking the lake and ballrooms where you can dance the night away.
It also has multiple wedding packages whether you're looking to elope, have a summer or winter wedding or even a New Year's Eve wedding.
Queen's Landing has several event spaces so whether you're looking to get married in a pergola surrounded by nature or live out a Disney princess wedding in a decadent ballroom, you really can take your pick.
Why Banks loves this venue: If you're looking for a destination wedding in Niagara, Banks says The Vintage Hotels offer a traditional vibe with a moody energy.
Storehouse 408
Address: 408 Queen St W, Cambridge, ON
About the venue: Storehouse 408 is an old, restored beer store in Cambridge, Ontario that has been brought back to life by two high school sweethearts and turned into a wedding and event venue.
This hip venue has a stunning outdoor terrace with a modern gas fireplace, a canopy roof and outdoor fans to keep you cool throughout your celebration.
Inside is a stunning hall with 2,300 square feet featuring exposed brick, exposed ductwork and twinkling chandeliers.
Storehouse 408 told Narcity that it costs around $21,400 to hold an average wedding of 80 to 100 people with a six-hour all-inclusive bar, dinner wine service, catering, and venue staffing.
Why Banks loves this venue: This venue is anything but typical according to Banks.
She says this space is great for clients who are looking to transform a space into their vision, not to mention it's decked out with popular black and gold accents inside and a "gorgeous" pergola outside.
