Splash Mountain has officially closed down and is going to be transformed into Tiana's Bayou Adventure from The Princess and the Frog. However, many visitors took this as an opportunity to keep the nostalgia alive and turn it into a side hustle.

Some people took the water from Splash Mountain into a sealed container and are selling it on eBay. It's not just any water...it's being sold for about $200 and people are actually buying it.

It is the end of an era. Splash Mountain has officially closed down as it gets ready for its new theme and will get revamped in the next year. Disney cast members who worked the ride gave it the final farewell and visitors thought it was so sweet.

They watched as workers floated in the "log" down the waterway leading to the big drop and they all cheered for them as the staff members waved back.

Splash Mountain at Walt Disney World is getting a revamp for 2024, which means the ride is going to be shut down for a whole year. The theme park is closing the attraction on January 23 to replace it with a reimagined The Princess and the Frog flume ride.

While the voice actress who played Princess Tiana, Annika Noni Rose, already confirmed the new renovations, Disney staff revealed even more exciting news on December 2.
