A whimsical autumn village is opening near Toronto with pumpkin cabins and a candy forest
If you love everything autumn, you'll want to head to this enchanting fall village that's popping up near Toronto.
The attraction features a magical candy forest, giant pumpkin houses, rides, a light display and more to get you in the harvest spirit.
Halloween Nights of Lights and Pumpkinville are returning for another year and you'll be swept into a fall dreamland.
The event is running from September 28 to October 31, 2024 at CF Sherway Gardens, just a short drive from Toronto.
You can enjoy an immersive walk-through Halloween experience with Nights of Lights. The adventure is home to new installations and "1.5 million LED and RGB lights, artistically synchronized to a spine-tingling soundtrack of Halloween classics," according to a press release.
Once you've wandered through this trail of Halloween magic, you'll find yourself in Pumpkinville, a fall fair featuring massive pumpkin sculptures and a pumpkin village.
The area is made up of over 25,000 real pumpkins and 2000 hay bales to create an immersive autumn atmosphere. You can wander through the cute pumpkin cabins which are tucked away inside a candy forest, snap Insta-worthy pics by the photo ops and explore the pumpkin patch.
You can also enjoy midway rides and games, take part in a pumpkin smash, enjoy food and boozy drinks and embark on a scavenger hunt.
On evenings from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m., the light show will turn into a nightmarish experience for Fright Nights. You'll want to keep an eye out for monsters and ghouls that will creep about the area.
Pets are invited to the experience on select dates listed on the website.
Admission to Pumpkinville is free with the purchase of a Halloween Nights of Lights ticket. If you just want to visit Pumpkinville, you can purchase a separate ticket.
