Long Point Provincial Park is a dreamy destination located in Port Rowan, just a few hours from Toronto. The park was founded in 1921, making it the fourth-oldest provincial park in the province.
With powdery sand and glittering blue water, it will have you feeling like you've taken a trip to the tropics.
One of the most notable features of the park is its impressive 40-kilometre sandspit, which is the largest freshwater sandspit in the world.
You can discover over 2 kilometres of velvety shoreline where you can swim and enjoy the summer sun while it's still here.
As the park is located on Lake Erie, you can expect beautiful, warm water, making it the perfect spot for a dip.
The day-use beaches are located in the New Park as well as Cottonwood Campground in the Old Park.
You can also find extensive beaches by Monarch's Rest and Turtle Dunes Campground.
