2 Canadian cities were just ranked in the top 10 in the world but Toronto isn't one of them

A new ranking from Condé Nast Traveler's 2024 Readers' Choice Awards crowned two Canadian cities among the top 10 best big cities in the world to travel to, and with stunning cities from across the globe vying for spots on the list, that's a huge win for Canada as a whole — even if Toronto did get totally snubbed.
In this year's rankings, Vancouver claimed the number-six spot, while Montreal landed at number nine. Vancouver's no stranger to this list, having been ranked as number eight in last year's awards, but it's an especially big deal for Montreal, which didn't make the cut last year.
