Florida's rising COVID-19 cases are now forcing major chains in the state to require face masks in their stores.
Publix, the most iconic grocery chain in the state, became the latest to require its customers to mask up while shopping in their stores.
To limit the spread of COVID-19, face coverings are required at all stores.
The grocery chain follows on the heels of other stores with a large presence in Florida that are trying to combat the spread.
Target, Walmart, Best Buy, Starbucks, CVS, and Kohls are just some of the many retailers making the decision to tell customers to mask up or find another place to shop.
The move comes after Florida has recorded more than 100,000 new COVID-19 cases in just two weeks.
