Certain Americans will no longer have to quarantine when coming to Florida after Gov. Ron DeSantis lifted his only travel ban.

The ban, which required residents from New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut to quarantine for 14 days when entering the state, was lifted on Thursday.

While the state has rescinded its ban, local governments across the Sunshine State have kept their own quarantine orders in place.

Meanwhile, the governors of other states have issued their quarantine requirements of Floridians, with New York City even going as far as setting up checkpoints for those coming from states with high case counts.

Florida recorded over 7,600 COVID-19 cases on Thursday, while New York State had a little over 700.
