Tampa Is Throwing A Face Mask Fashion Show & You Can Win Cash

As more cities mandate masks and COVID-19 cases spike in Florida, Tampa is kicking off the new normal with a virtual face mask fashion show.

In a video posted to their Facebook page, the City of Tampa urges participants to embrace masks by joining their fashion competition by sharing a photo of yourself in a custom mask on social media using the hashtag #FaceTheFactsTPA to win gift cards.

Entries will be judged in 2 categories: Most Creative and Best Homemade.

Winners will receive a $50-$100 gift card to some of the city's most popular restaurants, including Bern's Steak House, Forbici Modern Italian, Columbia Restaurant, and Armature Works.

The deadline for entry is July, 12 at 11:59 p.m. On July 7, Florida saw 10,044 new cases of COVID-19 with DeSantis extending a State of Emergency for The Sunshine State.
