McDonald's has a new menu item that's a throwback to the '90s and it's got a unique look to honour the Toronto Raptors.

You can only order this new McFlurry flavour for a limited time — and only in Ontario!

It was announced on February 18 that McDonald's Canada is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the McFlurry and the Raptors with the new '95 McFlurry.

The '95 McFlurry is available at locations in Ontario and is only on the McDonald's menu for a limited time.

Are you wondering what makes this new McFlurry Raptors-themed? Well, it's a vanilla soft serve blended with blueberry syrup and red popping candy.

That's meant to represent the classic Raptors colours from 1995: purple and red.

McDonald's Canada said that the original colours of Toronto's NBA team inspired the fast food chain to "create a vibrant flavour that brings back the fun and nostalgia of the '90s."

Also, the '95 McFlurry is a "tribute" to the McFlurry and the Raptors as both Canadian classics turn 30 years old.

It costs about $4.89 for a snack-sized and $5.79 for a regular-sized '95 McFlurry.

If you didn't know, the McFlurry was created in Bathurst, New Brunswick back in 1995 by Ron McLellan, a local McDonald's franchisee.

Now, it's on the menu at McDonald's locations worldwide!
