In a news release, the Toronto Police Services (TPS) reported that the first two assaults occurred on the same night back in May.

"On Saturday, May 23, 2020, at 11 p.m., officers responded to two separate radio calls for a sexual assault in the Bay Street and College Street area," reads an excerpt from the TPS news release.

A 25-year-old woman was walking near College and Bay when a man approached her. He reportedly sexually assaulted the woman before fleeing the scene.

A 24-year-old was also walking near the intersection of Grenville and Bay street on the same night when she reported a similar incident with who police believe to be the same man.

Since then, at least two more assaults have been reported. The first occurred on June 11 at 9:20 a.m. when a woman was assaulted near Yonge Street and Gerrard Street West.

The second involved a 21-year-old female who was attacked from behind while walking near Queen's Park on June 13.

According to police, sexual assault is any form of "unwanted sexual contact" including kissing, grabbing and sexual intercourse.

The suspect is said to be about 5'10", with short black hair.

In some incidents he was reportedly wearing a grey fitted puffy jacket, blue jeans, and white shoes.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact police at 416-808-7474, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-8477.

Last year, TPS also released a sexual assault alert for Toronto after reports were made of a man who has been sexually assaulting women on the TTC.

According to police, the man had reportedly been assaulting passengers on line one for years.
