One woman was in for a disgusting surprise while shopping back in November. 

Toronto police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who spat on a woman in a mall in the Dufferin Street and Bloor Street area.

According to TPS, the incident occurred on November 30, 2020.

A 47-year-old woman was reportedly walking inside the mall when the suspect came across the woman, removed his mask and then spat on her. 

Police have released a security image of the man on Tuesday.

The man is described as 25 to 35 years of age and was last seen wearing a dark jacket with a dark backpack. 

Anyone with further information is being asked to reach the police at 416-808-1100.

This isn't the first time someone has weaponized their saliva. Numerous reports of people coughing or spitting on front line workers emerged during the first wave.
