Toronto Police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a 17-year-old boy who was reportedly involved in the murder of an up-and-coming rapper. Eleijah Robinson, who is considered armed and dangerous, allegedly gunned down local Toronto rapper Houdini during a King Street West shooting on May 26. A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for his arrest.

On May 26, the rapper died from his injuries after he was shot during a daytime shooting. Two other victims were also transported to the hospital.

The Toronto Sun reported that a total of 23 shots were fired during the shooting.

So far, two 9 mm handguns and a torched blue getaway car have been found by investigators. The latter was discovered in the York Region.

According to a police report, investigators have obtained “judicial authorization to identify a Young Person.”

The authorization, which expires on June 3, allows authorities to publish the name of individuals under the age of 18 so that they can be identified.

Police have also released a list of Robinson’s charges which include possess prohibited/restricted without holding a licence, discharge firearm with intent to wound, and fail to comply with prohibition order.

Investigators are warning the public not to approach Robinson if they see him while advising them to call 911 immediately.

Since the death of the rapper, many celebrities have shared their condolences.

Popular Canadian Rapper Tory Lanez took to Instagram on May 26 to share his heartbreak over the tragedy.

The rapper shared several photos and a video of himself hanging out with Houdini.

In the pictures, the two can be seen smiling and living large as they hang out on an unknown street.
