A new report from AirAdvisor analyzed some of the world's busiest airports, looking at everything from passenger volumes and lost luggage searches to Google reviews, ratings, and even how far you have to trek from the gate to baggage claim.
The report, titled "The World’s Most Lawless Baggage Reclaims," found that Vancouver International Airport (YVR) was the Canadian airport where you're most likely to lose your luggage.
According to the data, there were nearly 4,000 searches related to lost luggage at YVR, landing it in 32nd place worldwide. That’s just a bit higher than Montreal-Trudeau International Airport, which came in at 34th.
And if you're wondering which airport took the top (or bottom?) spot overall — London Heathrow claimed that title. As one of the busiest travel hubs in the world, it's probably not a huge shock.
So, next time you're flying through YVR, maybe don’t check that designer suitcase.
