This Canadian airport just ranked among the best in the world for 2025 and it's not Toronto

It's officially the "best airport in North America"!

The best airports in the world for 2025 were just revealed, and a Canadian one took the top spot in all of North America.

Vancouverites have something new to brag about: YVR ranked the highest in North America, beating out its fellow Canadian airports, Toronto Pearson and Montréal–Trudeau.

Skytrax released its annual ranking of the world's best airports, naming Singapore Changi Airport the best overall for 2025. This is the thirteenth time Singapore Changi Airport has landed the top spot, and it also received nods for its airport dining and washrooms.

Canada only got one spot on the ranking of the top 20 airports in the world, though — Vancouver International.

Those who have been to Vancouver International Airport might not be surprised. It's known for its beauty (with mountain views like that, how could it not win?), flight options and ease. Don't just take it from us – Kelly Ripa has sung the praises of YVR for years, shouting out it's good, art, and shopping.

Flanked by Helsinki-Vantaa Airport and Istanbul Airport, YVR came in at 13th place on the ranking, which is a few steps up from last year's 17th spot.

Vancouver is moving up on in the world!
