Kelly Ripa is praising a Canadian airport once again, and it looks like many Canadians are agreeing with the talk show host's opinion.

Ripa and her co-host, Mark Consuelos, who is also her husband, were talking about airports they love on Live with Kelly and Mark when Ripa shared why one Canadian airport takes the top spot.

On the episode that aired on January 4, Consuelos brought out what looks like a news article that stated airports were becoming "travel hot spots" where even non-fliers can enjoy great food and shopping, and that's when Ripa shared her thoughts.

"Look, listen, unless it's the airport in Vancouver..." Ripa began before Consuelos chimed in about why he loves the airport in Rome.

While she did listen to her husband's points, Ripa continued with her thoughts on Vancouver International Airport.

"But still, the majesty of Vancouver's airport," she said. "Once you go there, you can't imagine going anywhere [else]. I'm like, 'Do I have to leave the airport? Can I just stay here in the airport?'"

"It is divine. The best shopping, great food, they've got arts and crafts, they've got streams, they've got babbling brooks, they've got an aquarium. I mean, you name it, they've got it in the airport."

It didn't take long for Canadians to chime in on Ripa's comments.

Someone posted the clip after it aired in a Reddit thread on r/askvancouver, and it quickly sparked a conversation in the comments about what people love about Vancouver International Airport.

"One thing I love about YVR is no matter where you turn they always have a place for you to sit. I've been in airports where it took a lot of searching to find seats and when you do they were likely occupied. Bravo YVR!" a comment with over 200 upvotes reads.

"I like how easy it is to find a place to charge my phone at YVR. Can't say the same about Pearson in Toronto," another person wrote.

"The seating, the space, the cleanliness, the restrooms are essentials to me and YVR (at least the international departure side) is almost top notch," one Redditor expressed.

One commenter who says they have travelled professionally for nearly 20 years and have been to many airports around the world agreed that "YVR is one of the best airports out there."

Others highlighted certain features inside the airport like the "giant Pacific Ocean fish tank in departures" and the "local Indigenous artwork."

It seems Ripa's comments served as an eye-opener for others.

One person wrote they live in the city but didn't know about all the features inside the international terminal.

"I guess it helps to go to the international section more often. It seems that there isn't much on the Canadian side," they added.

This isn't the first time Ripa has praised YVR, and it looks like her obsession with it goes way back.

In March 2023, Ripa expressed her disappointment on Live with Kelly and Ryan when the Canadian airport wasn't included on a list of the world's best airports. The talk show host said the company that put out the list had "clearly made an error."

In 2019, Ripa said she loved YVR so much she wants her ashes scattered there.

"I want to be buried in the Gucci at Vancouver Airport," she said on the show at the time. "I would like my ashes scattered there. I'm telling you, that airport, it's just gorgeous."

It looks like Ripa is on to something because, in a survey released by Skytrax, YVR was named one of the world's top 100 airports for 2023, ranking in the 20th spot. It was also ranked as the second-best airport in North America, after Seattle-Tacoma.

So next time you're travelling through YVR, make sure you leave yourself some time to enjoy all that it has to offer like Ripa does!
