RCMP is investigating after three German Shepherds were discovered to be stolen on Tuesday, June 30. The priceless pups were only eight weeks old. The owner wants the stolen B.C. puppies back and one of them needs help with a medical condition.

Owner Sandy Anderson from Woodside German Shepherds in Langley, B.C. spoke to Narcity about what happened.

"This morning I came outside to attend to my dogs, which I do every morning, and I noticed one of the gates was open going up to the kennel building and I thought 'oh well that's kinda odd,'" she said.

She noticed that the puppy gate was also open and she thought, "Oh my goodness, puppies are out running around somewhere!"

But they didn't come and she couldn't find them on the five-acre property. Then, a friend showed up and asked her what had happened to her gate.

By her driveway, the fence was all smashed to the ground.

"When she told me that, I knew right away," said Anderson. "I couldn't believe that both gates were open, but it didn't cross my mind that actually someone had come and taken them."

Anderson said that Langley RCMP came immediately had been at her property all day. They are currently investigating.

Narcity has reached RCMP for comment and will update this story.

"We're the top German Shepherd kennel in this country and have been for 30 years," she said.

Their dog that just won at Westminister Kennel Club in February 2020 is a half-sibling to the stolen puppies.

"These are the dogs that we were going to keep, to keep showing, and do what I do." she said. "You can't even put a value on them."

The puppies, one male and two females, are very young. they are all tattooed and easily identifiable.

One of the males has a medical issue was scheduled for surgery this week to help fix it.

If you have seen the dogs or know anything about where they might be, then please reach out to local police.
