On Monday, March 29, Premier John Horgan and Dr. Bonnie Henry provided an update on B.C. COVID-19 restrictions

Henry noted that B.C. recorded 2518 new COVID-19 cases over the weekend and said that "we do not yet have enough people protected with our vaccines to keep our loved ones and our communities safe."

As a result, Dr. Henry announced temporary amendments to some of the province's current health orders from tonight at midnight through to April 19.

"First, indoor dining at all food and liquor serving premises is paused. These locations may remain open for full meal services on patios or for takeout or delivery only," she said, noting places that only serve snacks must close entirely.

Next, the health official announced that all indoor adult group fitness of any kind must be paused and moved to a strictly one-on-one, reservation-only basis.
