Thunderstorms are predicted to form the afternoon of Thursday, July 9, and move eastward by evening.

Just days earlier on Tuesday, July 7, four tornadoes ganged up on the province, also around central and southern Alberta.

Weather Canada said to be careful and take cover immediately if you spot threatening weather headed your way.
