Edmonton's Famous Indoor Amusement Park Is Finally Opening Again Next Week

Perfect timing! The famous indoor amusement park, Galaxyland in West Edmonton Mall is finally reopening on Thursday, October 8 and it has the coolest new theme.

This entertainment destination has been transformed into a 165,000-square-foot Hasbro playground which will be the first of its kind in the country.

And talk about childhood nostalgia. The rides now include all your favourite '90s toys, games, and characters.

October 8 Galaxyland reopens 

The park closed back in December 2019 to undergo this major makeover. The Hasbro brand has taken over after over two decades of space-themed games and rides.

It's also getting a boost to its name and now be called "Galaxyland powered by Hasbro."

Galaxyland will only be opening 15 of their 27 rides, according to West Edmonton Mall.

This isn't the only cool playground at West Edmonton Mall. They just opened up a multi-level indoor go-kart track and it's the first of its kind in North America.
