We cannot let the lack of transportation be a factor in determining whether people have access to healthcare.” The program is part of the company's "LyftUp Initiative," which has a goal of providing everyone with the opportunity of getting wherever they need to go in an affordable and reliable way. Drivers will actually still be getting paid for the rides as each drive will be funded by partnering companies, community organizations and some truly awesome individuals. The first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine began rolling out last week in the United States. You'll have to download the app to see if you are eligible for a free ride to a vaccination site and you can also donate a ride to someone else who needs it!
