Fall is in the air, and if you're looking for a gorgeous spot to take in the colours, you'll want to plan a trip to this breathtaking Ontario provincial park near Toronto.

The area transforms into a red and gold dreamland, making you feel like you've stepped into a scene from a painting.

Mono Cliffs Provincial Park is a scenic area located on the Bruce Trail, just over an hour from Toronto in Shelburne.

The park boasts year-round beauty, but it's especially stunning during the fall, when the forests burst into shades of crimson and gold. There are several picturesque trails to explore, including some that take you past spectacular natural wonders.

You can stroll along 30-metre cliffs and soak in the patchwork of autumn hues from the Cliff-Top Trail's viewing platform.

The Spillway Trail is a majestic spot to explore, especially during the fall.

The 1.3-kilometre path leads you right through a canyon and has a winding boardwalk surrounded by vibrant leaves.

The park's Carriage Trail features a staircase that looks straight out of a storybook, allowing you to wander through a tapestry of autumn hues.

Mono Cliffs can get quite busy during peak colours, so you'll need to book a spot ahead of time—either online or by calling the park.

If you're looking to avoid the crowds, it's a good idea to visit on a weekday when it's typically less busy.

You can also find some quieter parks nearby, such as Earl Rowe Provincial Park, which offers beautiful foliage views.
