NDP leader Jagmeet Singh has shared a post-vote selfie on social media.

Posting the image on Twitter and Instagram, Singh discussed casting his vote in the upcoming B.C. election.

He wrote, “Today I voted for: a BC NDP government that puts people first. A better future for everyone — not just the super rich. John Horgan to keep leading BC through this pandemic.”

The photo showed the party leader proudly displaying an “I voted” sticker and beaming.

It’s not clear whether Jagmeet Singh chose to vote in-person or via mail, but he seems to be pretty happy to have cast his vote regardless!

While Singh did share his post-vote selfie, he avoided any potential trouble by not including his election ballot in the photo — a move that's actually illegal in Canada.

Back in September, current Premier John Horgan confirmed that an election would be going ahead in B.C. despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
