This inauguration presents a unique opportunity to spotlight the resilience and spirit of an America United Presidential Inaugural Committee CEO Tony Allen

The special is being hosted by Oscar-winning actor Tom Hanks and will feature musical performances by Demi Lovato, Justin Timberlake, Ant Clemons, and Jon Bon Jovi.

The Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC) looks to highlight the lives of those who risked it all to help others get through 2020, including front line healthcare workers.

"We are telling their stories, spreading their collective light, and celebrating the best of our country and its people with this prime-time program," said Allen.

The PIC hopes the special program will be a safe way for Americans to celebrate Joe Biden and Kamala Harris' inauguration, as the ceremony will have limited in-person capacity due to COVID-19 and fear caused by the Capitol Riots on January 6.

"Our first priority is safety — so while many of us will be watching safely from our homes, we are creating real moments of connection that highlight a new inclusive American era of leadership that works for and represents all Americans,” said Allen.

The special is set to air from 8:30 p.m. - 10 p.m. ET on ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, and MSNBC, as well as the PIC's social media channels.
