The inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden is quickly approaching, but it may have just gotten even more difficult to attend.

The company announced Wednesday they will be canceling all DC metro-area reservations made during the week of Biden's inauguration, as well as preventing any more from being made.

Those who had already planned to stay in DC will receive a full refund, and homeowners will also be reimbursed the money they would have made on the reservation.

This comes after Airbnb got word of different armed militias and hate groups planning to disrupt the inauguration.

Joe Biden's inauguration is scheduled for Wednesday, January 20 at noon.
