B.C.'s Okanagan Lake Estate For Sale Has Pink Sand Beaches & Crystal Clear Water

Did you know that Canada has more lakes than any other country in the world? It's true and we love nothing more than to make our home right on the shores. There's a place on B.C.'s Okanagan Lake for sale right now and it has pink sandy beaches next to the crystal blue waters.

The Chelsea Estate in Vernon is not just one lakehouse, but many. It's more like an old-school resort as it's a collection of different plots totalling around 234 acres of land.

And while Okanagan Lake might be famous for being the home of Ogopogo, many people don't know that you can also find reddish and pinkish beaches hidden all around.

“The unusual thing about the sandy beach is in that particular part of the Okanagan, the beach has a pink hue to it, it’s really interesting,” said realtor Mark Lester to the Vancouver Sun.

The property is surrounded by other resorts like Sparkling Hills and has a lot of potential to be fixed up to be a unique resort in its own right.

Nearby, there are public beaches where anyone can go if you wanted to see the colourful shores for yourself.

The water along this private estate looks like it could belong in the tropics.

In the summer, the Okanagan is one of the best places in the province to be for lakeside fun.

When you get tired of the crystal clear shores of your own estate, you can head on over to nearby Kalamalka Lake where the water is a surreal turquoise blue.
