The cost of the fine
Some of those cities handing out $100 citations include Costa Mesa, Calabasas, and Beverly Hills.
According to NBC Los Angeles, West Hollywood fines are $300 and if you're caught in Irvine, the fee is up to $500 a day.
A city in Canada can fine you up to $100,000 if you're seen not wearing a mask.
