From celebrity sightings to tour announcements, a lot has happened in the Canadian entertainment world this week.
Several big-name celebs were spotted in Toronto and Vancouver and Canadian singer Avril Lavigne shared she's going on tour with some special guests in 2024.
Here is all of the big Hollywood news that happened in Canada this past week.
Celebrity sightings in Toronto
There are several big Hollywood productions underway in Toronto and a few of the stars attached to the projects were spotted in the city this week.
Michelle Yeoh was spotted dining at several restaurants, including Lao Lao Bar on St. Joseph Street.
The owner of the bar shared a picture with the Oscar-winning actress following her visit.
Yeoh, who is in Toronto filming a new Star Trek movie, was also spotted at Roselle Desserts and Kiss My Pans this week.
The staff at Kiss My Pans told Narcity it was "surreal" having the actress stop by and that "all hell broke loose" when people realized she was there.
The cast of Guillermo del Toro's new Frankenstein film was also spotted dining out this week.
The director and several actors, including Oscar Isaac, Christoph Waltz and Mia Goth paid a visit to Pai in Toronto.
The Last Of Us cast is in Vancouver
Over on the West Coast, the cast of The Last Of Us went out for a group dinner to Zarak by Afghan Kitchen in Vancouver.
The cast, including Bella Ramsey, Isabela Merced and Young Mazino posed for a photo with several staff members during their visit.
The group is in B.C. filming Season 2 of the popular HBO series.
Avril Lavigne's going on tour
Canadian singer Avril Lavigne is going on tour in 2024 and tickets went on sale on Friday.
The "Complicated" singer says she'll be singing the greatest hits from all her albums and perhaps some special requests.
Simple Plan, All Time Low, Royal & The Serpent and Girlfriends will be joining Lavigne on the road.
The tour kicks off in Vancouver on May 22. Other Canadian stops include Ottawa on August 14, Toronto on August 16, Winnipeg on September 14 and Edmonton on September 16.
Canadian Oscars nominations
Several Canadians received Oscars nominations this week.
Ryan Gosling received a nomination for best supporting actor for his role as Ken in Barbie.
The late Toronto-born musician Robbie Robertson is up for the original score for Killers of the Flower Moon.
Director Celine Song was also nominated for best original screenplay for the film Past Lives.
Quebec filmmaker Vincent René-Lortie and Nova Scotia filmmaker Ben Proudfoot are also up for awards.
Tate McRae will headline the 2024 NHL-All Star Game
Calgary singer Tate McRae will not only serve as a celebrity captain at the 2024 NHL All-Star Game, but she'll also be performing.
McRae is set to headline the second intermission at the game on February 3 in Toronto.
The singer will be on Team McKinnon, which will be captained by Canadian hockey player Nathan McKinnon and Cale Makar.
Justin Bieber, Will Arnett and Michael Bublé will also serve as celebrity captains.
Pamela Anderson's beauty news
Baywatch actress Pamela Anderson announced she's entered the beauty world as a co-founder and owner of a minimalist skincare brand Sonsie Skin.
"Sonsie is an emerging, beautiful, vegan & cruelty-free skincare company… with an important message that I want to help share with the world," the Canadian actress wrote on Instagram.
