One of Florida’s largest Renaissance fairs, Lady of the Lakes Renaissance Faire, is officially set to return to The Sunshine State again in 2021.

The fair’s official website states that the autumn event has been postponed to next year, with the similar dates of November 5, 6, 7,13 and 14.

Out of abundance of caution we have made the difficult decision to postpone Lady of the Lake Renaissance Faire until 2021.

The Renaissance faire, a nonprofit organization that raises money for Lake County schools, still plans to hold interactive events later this fall that will still take you back to Shakespearean times.

In a post on their official Instagram page, Lord Edward, an entertainment proprietor of the faire, said, “The Bubonic Plague closed the Globe Theater in 1593, 1603 and 1608. Now this coronavirus has closed our wonderful faire.”

The organization hopes to take this time to plan for next year’s event and make it even more immersive and fun than before, even teasing fans with a future announcement of a new event for the 2021 festival.
