The person responsible for that Super Bowl tweet by Ottawa Public Health has officially been revealed as... Ryan Reynolds?

Reynolds made a confession on Friday, saying that he's, in fact, the mysterious individual named "Bruce" behind the hilarious fail.

"What you likely don't know is that I often go by another name. Bruce. No, not the musician," he said in the video.

"No, I'm talking about Bruce from that Ottawa Public Health Super Bowl tweet. The Bruce who forgot to include the winning team name and the logo. That Bruce."

Bruce wants everyone to know that he's "just so busy" these days and to just back off about his mishap.

He ended his video by saying "we can do this," and to keep following public health advice.

Reynolds often takes opportunities to have fun with Canada on social media. He didn't reserve any of his Canadian politeness for Newfoundland while autographing some of his Aviation Gin bottles last month.
