Southern Ontario Is Getting T-Shirt Weather This Weekend & Even More Sun Is On The Way

After this winter, we deserve this. ☀️
Staff Writer

The days of the polar vortex are finally behind us, according to the Southern Ontario weather forecast.

Citizens across the southern parts of the province can expect temperatures nearing the double digits, with a mix of sun and rain across the region.

The Weather Network predicts that the GTA will see sunshine all across the weekend, with a high of 7 C in Toronto on Saturday and 9 C on Sunday.

Peterborough, Guelph, and Kitchener are all expected to see sun and temperatures of 7 C this weekend, too, and Oakville could hit 9 C.

But the best news is for Windsorites, because The Weather Network says that Windsor is most likely to break into double-digit temperatures.

Even if there isn't sun, the regions with forecasts of rain — Hamilton and Niagara Falls — will still see warm temperatures of more than 5 degrees.

And the good weather doesn't stop there — Southern Ontario's forecast shows more sun and above-zero temperatures all through next week as well.

So if you're in Southern Ontario, grab your t-shirts (and maybe a raincoat) and enjoy the sun — after this frigid winter, you've earned it.
