'The Last of Us' season 2 trailer just dropped and it was filmed around BC (VIDEO)
The Last of Us season two is coming and the trailer just dropped, giving audiences a sneak peek of the Vancouver city and B.C. backdrop.
While season one of the show put Alberta on full display, it's British Columbia's time to shine in the popular series. Throughout The Last of Us filming we've seen downtown Vancouver transformed into then eerie post-apocalyptic city, so fans are excited to see it on screen.
The beloved stars Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal are back for this season, and some new cast members like Catherine O'Hara will be joining too. The trailer for season two, which just dropped, shows off some of the faces as well the stunning Canadian scenery we've come ot know and love in the show.
In addition to downtown Vancouver, there were also reports of filming in surrounding areas like Mission, Fort Langley, Squamish, Kamloops, and North Vancouver.
The beautiful setting has been cast in a spooky light in the trailer, fitting the theme of the show.

Althought there's no super obvious trademarks of Vancouver in the trailer, the mountainous backdrop is classic Canadian and gives viewers a taste of what's to come.
There are also some brief scenes in a city and on an abandoned public transit system, which could be in Vancouver based on the filming sets fans have seen in the city.
The trailer also revealed that the new season will come in 2025, so get ready!
