This European-style Christmas market in Ontario is nestled in a sparkling lakeside harbour
Europe is known for its magical Christmas markets, and you don't need to hop on a plane in order to experience some of that enchanting holiday spirit.
This Ontario Christmas market will whisk you away to a European village and is straight off a holiday postcard.
The Friday Harbour Holiday Market, located at Friday Harbour in Innisfil, is returning on select dates from November 22 to December 29, 2024.
According to a press release, the market is "styled after traditional European outdoor markets" and "features a stunning 40-foot tree and chalet-style cabins with the best in local food and gift vendors."
The lakeside harbour will transform with twinkling lights, festive decor and endless enchantment. You'll find themed warming lounges, magical photo ops, carollers and live performances, festive treats and drinks and more.
You'll want to snap lots of cute pics by the dazzling installations and glittering tree.
The Tree Lighting Ceremony will be taking place on November 23 and will feature live music, special guests and more.
You don't need a car in order to get to this dazzling market. Jus take the Barrie line to Barrie GO South station, then hop on Innisfil Transit to Friday Harbour.
