Tim Hortons Is Hiring 'Donut Lovers' For A Commercial In Ontario & You Could Make Over $2,000
If you're looking to make extra cash, Tim Hortons is hiring "donut lovers" in Ontario for a commercial that's filming soon.
You could get paid more than $2,000 for the commercial!
Groundglass Casting, a Toronto commercial casting company that finds real people for commercials, is currently casting for a new Tim Hortons campaign that's all about donuts.
The casting company is looking for people — not actors — in the Greater Toronto Area who love Tim Hortons donuts and are nostalgic for donuts that are no longer on the menu in Canada.
If you're wondering what discontinued Tim Hortons menu items are, Narcity asked Canadians earlier this year what they want back and some of the most common answers were Walnut Crunch donuts, Dutchie donuts, and cherry stick donuts.
Groundglass Casting is working in collaboration with Tim Hortons to find "donut lovers" and "connoisseurs" who are in the GTA for a commercial that's filming in Hamilton soon.
You can apply just for yourself or you can apply as a group with people you know like family members or friends.
If you get hired, you'll make $825 to $2,325 each for one day of filming.
This is a non-union project and you don't need any acting experience to get hired but you must be "outgoing and comfortable being filmed and interviewed," according to the casting call.
You must be legally eligible to work in Canada to apply for this role and able to film in Hamilton to get cast in the commercial.
Filming will happen on November 7 or November 8 but you need to be available for a brief two-hour wardrobe appointment on November 6.
Also, if you get shortlisted for the role, you'll have to do an online interview with the director of the commercial on October 31 or November 1.
If you book this commercial, you will get paid $75 for the wardrobe appointment and then $750 for one day of filming.
But you'll get paid an additional $1,500 if your footage is used in the final cut of the commercial and aired.
The application requires that you put in your personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.), select two or three of your favourite Tim Hortons donuts, and upload a short video of you talking about your favourite donuts.
Some of the Tims donuts that you can choose from are Old Fashioned Glazed, Chocolate Glazed, Walnut Crunch, Boston Cream, Honey Cruller, Chocolate Dip, Maple Dip, Apple Fritter, Blueberry Fritter, Cherry Stick, and Dutchie.
You have until Thursday, October 26, 2023, to apply for this job in the Tim Hortons commercial.
