NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh & Gurkiran Kaur Just Welcomed Baby No. 2
NDP leader Jagmeet Singh and his wife Gurkiran Kaur have welcomed their second baby girl.
The couple shared the exciting news in an Instagram post on Thursday.
"12.11.2023 our beautiful baby girl entered this world, making Anhad an older sister," the joint caption reads alongside a photo of the happy parents with their second daughter.
According to the caption, the NDP leader's second daughter was born on December 11. The couple has not shared their baby girl's name just yet.
Many people have been congratulating Singh and Kaur on the happy news both on Instagram and X.
In October, Kaur celebrated with a baby shower, sharing beautiful photos on social media from the event.
"Oh baby, we’re ready for you. To say that this baby shower was absolutely beautiful, is an understatement… I am beyond thankful for everyone in my life that made me and this baby-to-be feel incredibly special," Kaur wrote in the October 30 post.
Singh and Kaur first shared they were expecting their second child on July 13, 2023 with an adorable photo and announcement on X.
"@Gurkirankaur_ and I would like to officially announce that Anhad just got the biggest promotion of her life… she's going to be a big sister!! We couldn't be happier to welcome baby #2," Singh said in the announcement.
Kaur gave birth to their first child, Anhad, on January 3, 2022 so the family of four will be celebrating a birthday just after the new year.
