nuit blanche toronto

Get ready to pull an all-nighter, Toronto! Nuit Blanche returns on October 5, transforming the city with contemporary art from sunset to sunrise. For one magical night, over 80 breathtaking works by artists from around the globe will turn Toronto into an open-air gallery. And the best part? It’s all completely free.

This year’s theme, Bridging Distance, explores how we perceive and experience distance through thought-provoking artworks that engage the senses. The city will come alive with pop-up installations and performances along the downtown waterfront and beyond. Experience three exhibitions and an interactive event hub along the waterfront between Little Norway Park and Sherbourne Common, explore 12 captivating works at Humber Polytechnic Lakeshore Campus and enjoy late-night access to cultural hotspots across the city like The Aga Khan Museum, Royal Ontario Museum, and Art Gallery of Ontario, to name a few. This year’s program also includes a series of free talks, tours, and workshops that offer a behind-the-scenes look at a selection of works and the art-making process.
