Service Worker - Campus Moving
Location: St. George campus (Downtown Toronto)
Salary: $19.00 per hour
Who Should Apply: In this role, you'll be moving furniture, making deliveries and possibly operating vehicles on campus. This is a contract position running from September 3 to December 23, 2024, with shifts from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. A Grade 12 education or equivalent experience is required, along with the physical ability to handle heavy items. Effective English communication skills are a must, and a valid Ontario G-class driver's licence is preferred.

Service Worker Caretaking
Location: University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM)
Salary: $25.50 per hour
Who Should Apply: This part-time custodial role offers weekday shifts from 5 to 9 p.m. You'll be responsible for cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping and restroom maintenance, as well as some light maintenance duties like changing light bulbs and snow removal. To qualify, you need at least a Grade 10 education or equivalent experience. One year of related work experience is preferred. You must be physically capable of using cleaning equipment and able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.

Salary: $46,548 with an annual step progression to a maximum of $59,528
Who Should Apply: If you're a detail-oriented team player with a high school diploma and at least one year of experience in a residence or similar setting, this role could be a great fit. You'll be the first point of contact at the front desk, handling check-ins, answering inquiries, and managing minor issues during weekday evening shifts. Strong customer service skills, experience with Star Rez or similar software, and comfort with handling cash transactions are essential. If you have experience in the hotel or hospitality industry, that's a bonus.

Print Hub Receptionist
Location: University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC)

Who Should Apply: If you're a proactive and courteous professional with a college diploma and at least two years of front-line administrative experience, this role could be a perfect fit. As the Receptionist and Office Assistant, you'll be the welcoming face of the Munk School, handling inquiries, booking rooms, coordinating event logistics and supporting the Masters of Global Affairs and Undergraduate programs. Strong organizational skills, proficiency in MS Word and Excel, and experience in a busy office environment are essential. Familiarity with Munk's programs and Canva is a plus.
