Justin Bieber Will Be At The NHL All-Star Weekend & The Leafs Gave Him A Huge Gift (VIDEO)
The Toronto Maple Leafs made a big announcement on Thursday about the NHL All-Star Weekend.
The Leafs shared a video confirming Justin Bieber will be at the Toronto event in February and gave him a sweet present.
In the video shared on the Leafs' Instagram page, Auston Matthews sent his friend Bieber a video message confirming the pop star will be at the All-Star Weekend.
"Hey JB looking forward to seeing you at the All-Star Weekend," Matthews says in the call which looks like it was made from the Leafs locker room.
"I hope you enjoy your very big present from the team. See you soon bud. Love you."
After listening to the clip Bieber walks to his garage and opens the door to see the surprise inside.
It ends up being a large stuffed version of Carlton The Bear, which is the Leaf's mascot. He also happens to be wearing a special Leafs jersey with Drew House branding, which is Bieber's clothing brand.
"Shut up. Oh my God. It's huge," Bieber said after seeing the bear. "Carlton, is that you?"
The Canadian singer then walks over and gives Carlton a big bear hug.
"My guy. This is crazy!"
It sounds like Bieber's wife Hailey Bieber is taking the video and you can hear her laughing behind the camera at Justin's reaction before saying "I love it."
"I gotta put that in my Canada home," Justin says at the end of the clip.
On January 4, it was announced that Matthews would represent the Leafs at the All-Star Weekend. Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid and Canadian player Connor Bedard, who plays for the Chicago Blackhawks, will also be there.
The three-day event will be held at Scotiabank Arena from February 1-3. Tickets are available on Ticketmaster.
