The City of Toronto experienced major disruptions yesterday after a severe storm caused power outages and widespread flooding.
The thunderstorm, which began Tuesday morning and raged into the afternoon, left 167,000 people without power and resulted in the closure of roads, transit stations and more. According to the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, the city received heavy rainfall totalling up to 101.5mm.

People are sharing some wild videos of the chaos caused by the storm, including Drake, whose Bridle Path mansion experienced some major flooding.

The rapper posted a video on Instagram that showed brown, ankle-deep water pouring into his home, with the caption "this better be espresso martini."
Drake's house wasn't the only victim of the storm. The City of Toronto says that over 700 calls were made to 311 regarding basement flooding.

The Don Valley Parkway was the subject of intense flooding, leaving some vehicles nearly submerged and drivers stranded.
According to CP24, the Parkway has reopened this morning after being closed for nearly 18 hours.

Sections of the 401 and Gardiner Expressway were also closed due to flooding.

The storm even caused chaos for commuters taking public transit. The heavy rainfall resulted in flooding at Union Station which affected access to several areas including the food court, according to the City of Toronto. Power failures caused other TTC stations to close.

This morning, the City of Toronto released an update, stating that most roads have been reopened and that the TTC is operating as usual.
