Ontario's New France-style Christmas village has a twinkly market and old-world charm
You'll feel as though you've stepped back in time at this enchanting Ontario Christmas event. With a twinkly market, festive treats and live performances, it's a magical spot to visit during the holiday season.
Village Noël Temiskaming is returning to the Fall Fair Grounds in New Liskeard from November 21 to 23, 2024. The New France-style Christmas Village transforms the area into a wintery wonderland complete with activities, food and more.
According to the website, the event seeks to recreate "the magical atmosphere of New France through a unique Christmas market" and you'll be whisked into another era as you wander around the cozy vendor cabins and watch the live demonstrations.
You can find everything from blankets to artwork and mugs at the enchanting market. There will also be food vendors onsite such as BeaverTails and Northern Meats BBQ.
Other highlights of the event include fireworks, cozy fire pits, mini log sawing and games.
