U.S. News crafted a list of the best places to visit in Canada for 2025, weighing factors like affordability for U.S. travellers, entertainment options, hotels and resorts, expert opinions and user votes. Popular destinations like Banff and Quebec City peppered the ranking, and the small town of Whistler came in at 9th place.
The ranking praised the ski town for its long list of adrenaline-pumping activities – think bobsled rides and bungee jumps — as well as its bustling après-ski and shopping scenes.
Although known for its winter intrigue, the town is just as vibrant and full of things to do in the summer months. When the snow melts you can head to the mountains for hikes with spectacular lookouts onto glistening blue lakes, or go out with a kayak or canoe for a sunny afternoon on the water.
