This ski resort in B.C. just took the top spot on a list of the best ski resorts in North America for 2024.

The Condé Nast ranking was crafted from the Readers' Choice Awards and highlighted resorts all around the world. Sectioned off into different regions, Whistler Blackcomb took the top spot among the North American Resorts.

Each resort was given a score, which was a percentage "representing overall average levels of satisfaction," and Whistler Blackbomb earned a hefty score of 94.

This beat out some serious competition like Aspen Mountain, the fellow Canadian resort of Banff, and even Vail.

More Canadian spots made the list too – including Mont-Tremblant in Québec and Big White in B.C., but it seems like Whistler is a favourite.

The two mountains, Whistler and Blackcomb, make for a pretty unforgettable trip. The stunning scenery of the small town, just an hour and a half drive from Vancouver, shows off why the province is called Beautiful British Columbia. With top-rate skiing and a fun village to top it off, it makes sense why it earned its spot on the list.

The Peak 2 Peak gondola here is a must-see on a visit, and it showcases how unique the mountain is. The gondola (some of which have clear bottoms you can look through) will take you between the Whistler and Blackcomb mountains, over a valley of towering trees with an endless view of the snow-tipped mountain range in the distance. It's pretty magical, to say the least.

Spend the day on the slopes or wander around the fairytale-like village with its shops, restaurants, and bars.

If you want to visit the best ski resort in Canada for 2024, you know where to go!
