Provincial police in Ontario say four people have died after a single-vehicle crash in Puslinch, Ont.

They say in a news release that police, firefighters and paramedics were sent to the scene on Watson Road South, between Maltby Road East and Wellington Road 34, around 1:35 a.m. on Saturday.

Police say six people were inside the vehicle and four of them were declared dead at the scene.

They say two others were brought to hospital with life-threatening injures.

Police are asking anyone who may have relevant information, dash-camera footage or surveillance footage from the area around the time of the crash to contact the Wellington County OPP office.

The detachment declined to provide any identifying information about those involved in the crash, including their ages, citing an ongoing investigation, but said in a statement that a news conference will be held on Sunday.
